A Private Krampus Experience
Our Krampus festival tour has been a favorite for more than a decade—but we’ve always wanted to offer visitors a chance to go even deeper behind the culture and history of this incredible phenomenon.
With our VIP Krampus tour, you’ll get to attend multiple Krampuslaufs to see Krampuses in action, along with excursions and exclusive experiences where you’ll get to learn from the incredible people involved with this Bavarian and Tyrolean tradition.
Private VIP Krampus Tour Itinerary:
- Day 1: Dec. 5th
- Pickup in Munich at Hotel Eden Wolff
- Transportation to Prien am Chiemsee for Schnitzel making course and lunch OR boat ride and tour of Herrenchiemsee Palace
- Afternoon transportation to Hallein for Krampus parade before hotel check in / Berchtesgaden and parades
- Day 2: Dec. 6th
- 10:00 a.m. departure from Hotel AlpinaRos in Berchtesgaden
- Morning lecture with local mask maker and Krampus club creator
- Free time for lunch or salt mine tour with lunch
- Afternoon Grassl schnapps factory for Krampus parade
- Evening dinner at HB for Krampus visit
- Day 3: Dec. 7th
- Transportation to Hallstatt for free time before hotel check in at Bad Goisern
- Breakfast in hotel followed by Berchtesgaden area mask maker with demonstration and history
- Lunch in Hallstatt with free time to wander
- Evening hotel check in at Bad Goisern for Krampus parade and free time
- Day 4: Dec. 8th
- Relaxing morning before return to Munich in the afternoon
- Leisurely drive back to Munich with stop for lunch along the way
